Oura is an independent surface pattern design studio founded by Ayushi Shah. We believe meaningful design doesn't begin with trends — it begins with observation. A quiet street, the rhythm of leaves, a childhood memory, the texture of handmade paper or the colours of a local market can all become the starting point for a collection.
Each pattern is carefully developed into production-ready artwork for fashion, interiors, stationery and lifestyle brands, balancing storytelling with commercial usability.
Meet Ayushi
Creativity has been part of Ayushi's life since childhood. From sketchbooks and handmade projects to exploring colours, textures and traditional crafts, she has always been drawn to noticing beauty in everyday moments. That habit of observation became the foundation of Oura.
Today, she combines illustration, colour exploration and technical surface pattern development to create original collections that feel thoughtful, timeless and ready for real products.
